On March 6, 2008 Masha Rifkin sent out this message: Dear everyone,

I'm writing today with grave news. Those of you who went to camp know and love Larisa. Today, a Kassam hit her house directly, and erupted into flames. I don't know full details yet, but what I've been told is that by the time the ambulance arrived, they had to pull Larisa and her grandfather out from under the flames of their house. Her grandfather seems to be seriously burned, and initially Larisa seemed ok.

Larisa was sitting next to her grandfather in the ambulance and on the way - fainted. At first the paramedics thought that she had fainted in shock, but when they looked more closely, they saw that something black had fallen out of her ear. I don't know if it was blood, or a piece of shrapnel. I believe Larisa is currently unconscious and in the hospital; they don't know if she's injured, but they're trying to figure out what's wrong.

Please pray for Larisa and her grandfather, forward this message to everyone who should read it. Pray for the people of Sderot.
Guys - playtime is over. We need to act. Now.

We need to raise money for new clothes for Larisa's family and help them begin to rebuild their home.
